The Institute of Life Technologies is active in three areas: agri-food, biotechnology and analytical chemistry. Its applied research activities range from process development to product development, and include the development of analysis methods and product characterisation. The institute is accredited to carry out chemical, physical, biological, microbiological and sensory analyses, and for consultancy concerning process safety and food product safety.
